Nobody ever said the holidays had to be cold.
Palm Springs offers an assortment of oasis adventures, unforgettable scenery, world-class museums, and some of the finest cuisine available for travelers on holiday hoping for a little more than the usual snow and eggnog.
A bright new tradition burst upon Palm Canyon Drive in December of 1992 - the annual Palm Springs Holiday Festival of Lights Parade - and it quickly became one of the most popular and beloved local events.
Held the first Saturday in December, the parade was born in the spirit of community, when a small group of people wanted to bring the holiday spirit to life for locals and visitors alike. The event is so unique and celebrated that it now attracts over 100,000 people from all over the world every year. It's consistently voted as one of the Top Ten Holiday Parades in the entire country as well as one of the best events in Coachella Valley.
