At the film festival, Revry will be debuting the world premiere of its new comedy "Persianality", created by Matthew Mouriel, who will be appearing at the screening in character. Revry will also hold panel discussions with its CEO, Damian Pelliccione.
Several different packages are available to attend the festival. Among the selections at the Camelot Theatres will be collections of shorts such as "Life Can Be Tough At Times", delving into the more serious side of things; if you love horror, "Come a Haunting" is for you, with funny horror shorts crafted through the LGBTQ lens; enjoy a laugh with comedy shorts at "Happy Days Are Here"; immerse yourself in intrigue with "I Dream In Another Language", a film featuring a linguist researching a nearly forgotten language in the Mexican jungle, revealing a secret past and a forbidden gay love story.
Then enjoy more diverse selections at the Best of the Fest at the Mary Pickford Theatre. More unique selections await you with the musical romance "Something Like Summer" about a secret high school relationship between two boys who reunite years later with complicated results. The film "Weirdos" is shot in black and white, underscored by a hot 1970s soundtrack, and featuring two teens running away from home and entering a world of discovery about themselves.
These are just a few brief glimpses into the wonderful entertainment representing just about every genre and taste. You can order tickets through the Cinema Diverse website and read more about the festivities, see photos from previous years, or even make a donation.
