Don't Miss the 25th Annual Jazz in the Pines Festival

Coming up during the second weekend of August, Idyllwild Arts will be presenting the 25th annual Jazz in the Pines event on Temecula Road in Idyllwild, located about an hour away from downtown Palm Springs within the San Jacinto Mountains National Park. This is a three-day festival beginning on the 10th that will have plenty of live music, food, and more within the beautiful forests of Southern California, and all just a short 45 minute drive from your Palm Springs vacation rental at ModMansions! 

August 10 

Jazz in the Pines kicks off on Friday Night with the Patrons Dinner. This event requires special ticket purchases so if you'd like to attend, be sure to get your tickets. Otherwise, festivities for the general public will begin on the 11th. 

August 11 

The party begins at 10 am on Saturday and will end around 5:30 pm. There are four different stages situated on the grounds that will house several bands. The Main Stage will feature Mexican-American percussionist Pete Escovedo and his orchestra as well as the Chase Jackson Sextet, Evan Christopher Clarinet Road, and the Graham Dechter Quartet. You may also see shows at the French Quarter, Stephen's Hall, and the Lowman Concert Hall. 

August 12 

The event will reopen Sunday morning at 10 am and resume the regular schedule. You can catch the Voices in Praise Gospel Choir, Richie Cole Alto Madness, the Azar Lawrence Experience, and Casey Abrams featuring Haley Reinhart on the Main Stage beginning at 11 am.Other performances include Jazzgrass, Owen Zorn "Howl," and Henry Franklin. 

Idyllwild Arts will also be showcasing some of their best artwork at the marketplace for purchase including jewelry, pottery, t-shirts, hats, posters, and more. There is a wide variety of food and drink options at the Market including Cajun, barbecue, ice cream, smoothies, and more.
