Summer has ended and winter is in full swing, but we still have time to enjoy the great outdoors. The Palm Spring Aerial Tramway is a unique way to experience Chino Canyon and Mount San Jacinto State Park.

The Experience

You will begin your adventure by embarking on a ten-minute journey across the Chino Canyon to Mount San Jacinto State Park. As you make your way across, your tram car will gently rotate, treating you to the most breathtaking views of the canyon. When you arrive at the top, there is a variety of activities available for you to discover. You can hike through your choice of over 50 miles of trails, learn more about the area in one of two documentary theaters, enjoy lunch or dinner in two scenic restaurants, or visit the museum or gift shop. When you're ready you will catch the next tram car bringing you safely back.

Unique Events

In addition to the activities that are always available, the Palm Spring Aerial Tramway offers a variety of changing events and discounts throughout the year. For example, the end of the summer concluded a 5-month series of educational classes and programs, all offered absolutely free. As the fall months continue and the holidays draw near, stay tuned on their event page for more exciting experiences!

Tramway in the Winter

This amazing experience does not need to be enjoyed only in summer months. If winter and snow is more your thing, then you will enjoy all that the Tramway has to offer when the snow begins to fall. In addition to the activity offerings that are available year round, you can take the tram to the top and enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, camping, and more.

Palm Spring Aerial Tramway is the ideal place to spend a day taking in magnificent views and enjoying nature. Tickets can be purchased upon arrival or you can save time by purchasing them online. Visit their website to start planning your experience!
