You haven't seen magnificence until you've seen the Coachella Valley come to life in the spring. The wildflowers and cactus are blooming in the Palm Springs area from March through June. The desert is a wondrous place with lots to do and see. But, ahhhhh, the nightlife.

Before I get to that, I need to mention, "The 25th Annual WildLights" at the zoo, which begins on November 24th and runs on selected nights through December 24th, from 6-9PM. This place is so much more than a zoo, it is, "The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens", on Portola Ave. in Palm Desert. Palm Springs Pride: Celebrating Diversity

A nonprofit community enhancement organization founded to promote the public education and awareness of individual rights and civil liberties of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and to promote the history, diversity and future prosperity of the Greater Palm Springs LGBTQ community. Each year, the organization puts together a fantastic festival that takes place in Downtown Palm Springs.
